In an ideal world, every one would listen to and love John Cale. In those circumstances, this album would not be out of print and hard to find, but it is. His work with the Velvet Underground was amazing, but he went in so many different directions as a solo artist that it boggles the mind. This album shows John Cale truly solo. It is him, a piano, and the audience. You'll hear these songs stripped down from their studio counterpart, and they take on new life, especially like in the case of "Paris 1919" where he has to rethink the rhythm part way through the song (when you hear it, you'll know what I mean). This is a very special live album, and hopefully someday someone will have the good nature to remaster and re-release this album. Until that day, you get it by clicking here.
